Marketing Manager

Are you an experienced marketing professional and are you ready to play a key role in taking Brookline’s marketing strategy to the next level? We are looking for an inspiring Marketing Manager.

What will you be doing?

The Marketing Manager will be reporting to the Commercial Director and is responsible for setting up and rolling out Brookline’s global marketing strategy. In this new role, you will further develop our brand DNA and ensure all of our commercial departments are aligned. You will act as a sparring partner for our sales department and as a trusted advisor. In addition, you will be given the opportunity to build your own team of marketing disciplines.

What are your responsibilities?

  • Develop and implement local and global marketing strategies, including the supervision of consistent and high-quality implementation, and coordination of all activities;
  • Turn our marketing strategy into a marketing calendar and day-to-day activities;
  • Collaborate closely with Communications & PR to expand global campaigns across all possible channels;
  • Prepare and maintain marketing budget and planning to ensure all projects are completed on time in order to meet commercial targets and other objectives;
  • Collect insights and identify business opportunities through target audience and market analyses, including acting upon these opportunities;
  • Proactively introduce marketing and brand initiatives that contribute to Brookline’s organisational targets;
  • Report about clear KPI’s, ROI and overall performance of campaigns across all sales channels, and recommend improvements where necessary;
  • Maintain close contact with the Commercial Director and other members of the Management Team;
  • Build on the future of a high-performance winning team.

  • Master’s degree in Marketing Management, Business Administration or equivalent;
  • At least seven years’ experience in marketing and three years’ experience in a similar position;
  • Proven track record in rolling out global marketing strategies and integrated marketing campaigns;
  • Experience in sports retail is a must;
  • You have an in-depth knowledge of marketing trends and understand the standards of a premium brand;
  • Good command of spoken and written Dutch and English; German is a strong asset;
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills;
  • You are a quick-thinking team player with an innovative and commercial mindset;
  • Available for a full-time position in Klarenbeek (the Netherlands).

Founded in 2020 – but backed by over 30 years of retail experience – we distribute our products throughout Europe from our large warehouse in Apeldoorn. We already sell our products in over 3,000 stores, but we want to increase this number by lots more!
